As a Public Notary Derek Ziman is authorised to issue certificates verifying the truth, correctness and authenticity of various matters. These certificates are used in Courts and other Administrative Bodies both here in Australia and overseas.

Public Notaries in Australia are vastly different from Notaries in the USA. In Australia Public Notaries must have certain qualifications and are strictly controlled whereas the American Notary needs no such pedigree and they are therefore rather plentiful.

The signature of a Public Notary is kept on file in overseas Consulates to enable verification by the Consulate of the Notary’s standing and eligibility.
